Our approach

Mouchel aims to deliver better quality public services and to improve the way in which public infrastructure is planned, designed, constructed and operated.  But we also want to play a part in creating communities in which people want to live; and to make a positive and sustainable difference to people’s lives.

In order to achieve these goals, we need to understand the sustainability issues that are relevant to both our business and stakeholders.

In Mouchel’s 2009Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Report, we described our key stakeholder groups and reported on our progress in developing a better appreciation of the key ‘material issues’ affecting them – and on how we could make a positive impact.

In 2010 we drew up objectives and associated action plans to address material issues (a summary can be found under each ‘material’ section of this site) and we will provide feedback on progress made towards addressing these measures as part of our programme of corporate reporting and via this website.
