Travel information systems

We provide strategic review of information provided to travellers, primarily on motorways, but increasingly within local authorities. We also offer provision of travel information through use of variable message system (VMS) technology.

Examples of our work include car park guidance systems, and advanced MS4 signage on Motorways, such as those implemented the M42 and on the M4 corridor.

Informed travellers are able to react appropriately to the information provided. By alerting a traveller to an incident ahead, to the time it will take them to travel a specified distance or to the location and route to parking spaces, congestion in the area can be considerably reduced and driver behaviour controlled.

We use our experience from other schemes and supply chains to fully develop and deliver the product, and can provide ongoing support to ensure maximum operational benefits are realised.
