Transportation modelling

We develop land use, strategic, multi-modal, micro-simulation and junction based models that aid transport planning for a wide variety of clients. Our services are used to examine specific strategies and proposals and to provide tools for the development of packages of transportation measures. In addition, we also undertake carbon modelling for transportation to determine the carbon impacts of potential strategies. We collect data for such models including traffic data, junction counts, parking, public transport, pedestrian, cyclist, travel diaries and travel surveys, socio-economic information and attitudinal surveys.

Our services include: data collection, and modelling in the form of Land Use Transport Interaction (LUTI), strategic (SATURN), multi-modal (Cube Voyager), micro-simulation (VISSIM and Paramics), accessibility (Accession), junction modelling (Oscady, Transyt, Arcady, Picady) and Carbon modelling using bespoke tools.
