Sustainability has always been an integral part of the Mouchel culture. We believe that if we are to behave responsibly to all of our stakeholders - our local communities, our customers and suppliers, our staff and our shareholders – then we need to balance their needs in both the short and long term; making sure that our activities are sustainable.
What are the key features of the service?
Strategy development and implementation; Sustainable procurement; and Behavioural change and engagement strategies.
Built environment and sustainable communities:
Sustainability Appraisals of master plans, strategies and development plan documents; Sustainability assessments on proposed developments; BREEAM; and Planning advice.
Energy and carbon change:
Carbon reduction programmes; Energy assessments; and Training.
Environmental assessment and management.
Environmental Management Systems; Training; Auditing; Environmental Impact Assessments; and Strategic Environmental Assessment.

To provide an integrated environmental, social and economic benefit to plans, projects, products and services.

We look to use innovative approaches, our knowledge and experience to cover the broad service of ‘sustainability’ – looking spatially, holistically and strategically to provide better operational efficiency.
