Structural maintenance (highway structures)

We provide specialist structural maintenance and management consultancy, intended to supplement in-commission skills within Mouchel’s national and local highway commissions.

We also carry out some small external commissions, directly for specialist contractors and structure owners.

We offer: structural investigation; condition assessment; repair design; materials technology; prediction of future performance and whole life maintenance; and planning and costing for highway structures.

We assist clients in the management of their structures, and in the implementation of sustainable whole-life maintenance plans. Clients can be given confidence that, with expert advice, appropriate repair and planned maintenance, their structural assets will fulfil their whole life purposes.

Our team is made up of engineers and materials technologists, including a number qualified to PhD level, who have detailed knowledge of structure deterioration processes and whole-life repair and maintenance solutions.
