Structural maintenance (civil and building structures)

We provide specialist structural maintenance and management consultancy within Mouchel’s managed service commissions, and directly for structure owners and specialist contractors.

Services include: Structural investigation, condition assessment, repair design, materials technology, prediction of future performance and whole life maintenance prediction, planning and costing for a whole range of structures. These include structures in maritime and utility environments, multi-storey car parks and other buildings.

The principal aim of the service is to assist structure owner clients in the management of their structures, and in the implementation of sustainable whole-life maintenance plans. Clients can be confident that with expert advice, appropriate repair and planned maintenance their structural assets will fulfil their whole-life purposes.

We are an expert team comprising engineers and materials technologists. A number of our team are qualified to PhD level, and have detailed knowledge of structure deterioration processes and whole-life repair and maintenance solutions.

We are industry experts, with particular expertise in concrete technology and electrochemical repair solutions. We also maintain close contact with other industry experts to ensure that the expertise available is at the forefront of technology.
