Road user charging

We provide technical, contractual, strategic and economic advice to clients implementing and managing road user charging and congestion charging schemes.

We offer development and training in operational procedures and systems, with operator training and system commissioning. We advise on civil engineering and traffic management procedures. We can also provide back office systems, billing, debt management systems and payment systems.

We have extensive experience of London’s congestion charging system, as well as the Lorry Road User Charge (LRUC). Clients also benefit from our experiences working with Local Authorities.

We provide technical support for testing of charging and enforcement systems, including DSRC, GPS, and GPRS distance data collection systems. We also support vehicle identification and enforcement systems including ANPR, CCTV, radar and digital imagery.
