Rail civil and structural engineering

Provision of design services to the rail industry, including bridge examination and assessment; bridge design, strengthening and maintenance; civil engineering infrastructure design, rail station improvements and platform extensions.

We provide teams of structural engineers dedicated to the rail industry, working on long term (10 year) contracts with Network Rail, our principal client, and also delivering consultancy commissions.

Our contracts include strategic support and technical development at HQ level and design projects with Network Rail territories.

We have commissions throughout England ensuring a good local knowledge and understanding of regional requirements. Our locations in the rail centres of London, Manchester, Birmingham and York ensures responsive service.

With our operations team, we provide an in house 'one stop shop' for design and construction of trackside civil engineering installations.

We are one of only two Network Rail suppliers approved for the design of strengthening work to rail structures using Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites. We also provide a regular service for the upgrading of Network Rail Technical Standards.
