Public transport (bus priority, rail & LRT)

We provide a range of transport planning services related to the justification, development, and design and securing of funding packages for all forms of public transport interventions including bus priority, rail infrastructure improvements and rapid transit systems including bus-based, LRT and Metro.

Services include:-

Initial route and infrastructure feasibility, public and stakeholder consultation, strategic and local transportation modelling, operational advice, legislative advice, procurement strategy, business case development.

We offer a holistic approach to the development of public transport infrastructure and services ensuring that interventions meet the stated objectives in a robust manner. Our experience ensures that outputs are achievable in terms of engineering but also likelihood of funding.

We work in close partnership with our clients to ensure that our study and project outputs meet their intended requirements, but informed by the particular skills and local knowledge that they have.

We keep abreast of the latest developments in the appraisal and justifications of new infrastructure. With changing pressures due to rising congestion and environmental concerns, our knowledge base is continually developing and evolving. We are at the cutting edge of work with our involvement in projects such as the Shrewsbury Transport Innovation Fund and our work on the Thames Gateway.
