Public consultation

We run and manage public consultations and public inquiry exercises for projects.

 

This includes providing evidence and support for counsel at public inquiries, as well as providing expert witness at public inquiries and to parliamentary committees. We develop software to record and manage the consultations effectively.

 

We also undertake land referencing (land ownership verification) in support of numerous statutory processes involving public inquiries.

We offer: stakeholder workshops; audience and stakeholder matrices; steering groups; public presentations; stakeholder walkabouts; scheme-specific briefings; breakfast and supper meetings; public consultation; prepaid postal questionnaires and newsletters; and websites.

 

We develop high-quality 3-D visualisations that aid the consultation process.

We also offer a comprehensive property, engineering, referencing and consultation system (webPERCS).

Our service facilitates the inclusion of key stakeholders, minority groups and members of the public. It encourages consultation with all organisations necessary to fulfil the objectives of a scheme, initiates a structured and auditable approach to stakeholder communication and ensures that communities are kept informed throughout the commission.

We have developed a comprehensive consultation management system that is currently being used on over 20 internal and external projects by clients such as Transport for London and Nottingham City Council.
