We offer a comprehensive range of expertise to undertake Part 2A assessments.Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 places a duty on local authorities to identify contaminated land in their areas and ensure that it does not pose a risk to statutory receptors (humans, waters, property and ecosystems).
We have extensive experience in meeting the objectives of the Part 2A inspection process including ourinvolvement in the investigation and remediation of one of the first housing sites in the UK to be dealt with under this legislation. We have also carried out a number of investigations, enabling determination and country-wide assessment for soil and gas impact on human health.
