Our Human Resources (HR) service is a broad and complex area of work, requiring specialist knowledge across diverse subject areas from employment law, recruitment and selection, to training and development. We provide HR advisory service, health and safety services, recruitment services and Mouchel Learning Partnership, Our employees are part of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and these specialists tailor make projects to specific requirements.

HR advisory service:
This service offers an ongoing HR consultancy service and support on one-off projects. Our range of services include recruitment and selection, contractual issues, managing attendance, discipline and grievance issues, terminations of employment and policy development, Details of this aspect of our service are given below.
Recruitment and selection of employees:
advice on policies and best practice on recruitment and selection of employees
recommendations on filling vacancies in the best way, changing or re-designing posts andfilling posts through different channels/methods
counsel on the use of temporary contracts
support on preparation of job descriptions and person specifications
advice on the determination of salaries and grades
Contractual issues:
advice on interpretation and application of conditions of service and on individual contractual issues to ensure appropriate action is taken
support with consultation and proposals on changing terms and conditions of employment
Managing attendance:
counsel on policy, procedures and best practice for the management of absence
medical advice and reviews including notifying and liaising with external agencies
Discipline and grievance issues:
guidance on adoption of disciplinary and grievance procedures
counsel with legal requirements and best practice
guidance with case preparation and presentation of case to hearing and appeal panels
support with drafting outcome and dismissal letters
Terminations of employment:
support to deal with all aspects of employee retirement including pension advice and redundancy
guidance on consultation procedures to be followedcounsel on the application of criteria for selecting employees for redundancy
counsel for any subsequent representation and appeal issues
Policy development:
The HR advisor team:
We employ a diverse team of more than 30 HR consultants who hold significant knowledge, experience and expertise in HR professional support services.
Contacts are specifically selected to work exclusively with clients to ensure continuity and build relationships, we provide cover from the wider team in any period of absence, thus ensuring timely support is always available.
Health and safety services:
Our team ofqualified health and safety specialists support services, by telephone, post and in person, to our clients. Health and safety inspections and reviews are carried out for a number of clientsand continuing support is available from the health and safety helpline. Specific services included within this discipline are:
Appointment of a health and safety professional as the client¿s contact to provide health and safety assistance as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
Arrangement of site visits to discuss health and safety management arrangements and carry out a site inspection to review physical standards and working practices in key areas of a school
Reporting and relaying detailed health and safety issues and recommended actions through the health and safety professional
Guidance and advice on carrying out risk assessments and the measures necessary to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
Provision of model health and safety policies and checklists
Advising on the health and safety helpline
Health and safety training courses, both standard and bespoke, including risk assessment training, fire marshal, work at heights, 'working safely' and PAT testing courses.
Employee counselling and support:
We provide a workplace counselling service that delivers a number of benefits, such as reducing employee and organisational stress, assisting in the reduction of employee absence and demonstrating a duty of care to employees.
Our Employee Support Counsellors help with a wide range of problems including:health and sickness problems, domestic and family matters, difficulties at work, bereavement, retirement, personal difficulties such as anxiety, depression, loneliness or lack of self-esteem.

From advising on job descriptions to producing letters of appointment, we provide guidance and bespoke services at any stage of the recruitment process.
Recruitment advertising:
We have negotiated special discounts and price reductions with local and national media and manage this process on behalf of our clients.

TempLinc provides public and private businesses with temporary workers. Predominately concentrating on the Lincolnshire area, TempLinc specialises in a variety of office skills includingadministration, clerical and secretarial, I.T. and accountancy and finance.TempLinc is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC)
Mouchel Learning Partnership:
Mouchel Learning Partnership consists of three functional delivery teams: professional skills team the I.T. training team and apprenticeship team
