Highways records

We keep and update highway records on behalf of, County Council clients. Answering enquiries regarding the status and extent of the highways, and respond to highway questions from Land Charge searches.

We provide a fast, efficient and consistent service to solicitors, local authorities, statutory undertakers, and the public.

We update records using geographic information systems (GIS), research historical documents held in Records Offices and interpret data obtained from diverse sources (legal agreements, enclosure awards, tithe documents, title documents etc).

We attend site meetings to establish highway boundaries on the ground and to define routes of public rights of way, thereby giving the client the benefit of our expertise.
