Ecology
Mouchel has a rapidly developing ecology capability that is supplied from several regional bases from across the UK. The highly qualified senior and principal ecologists who provide technical advice and client support also manage teams of Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) registered consultants and assistant ecologists. Mouchel is proud to boast a high percentage of senior staff with chartered environmentalist status (CEnv) through the Society for the Environment. Many of the key technical personnel hold more than one degree as well as a wealth of project experience, which is regularly used to solve client's ecological concerns.
Mouchel's high proportion of repeat business is based on the quality of field and written work produced by its ecologists and environmental scientists. All commercial outputs are underpinned by robust scientific methodologies which withstand the scrutiny of all parties, be they planners or potential objectors. Through commercial awareness, Mouchel's ecologists are sensitive to client needs and project timescales. Mouchel caters for all ecological assessments, appraisals, surveys and advice, ranging from planning requests for protected species and invasive weeds to full ecological impact assessments.
