Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)

We provide automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology for automated capture of moving contraventions, bus lanes, box junctions, no right/left turns.  The technology can also be utilised for enforcement for off-street car parks, enforcement and monitoring of waste/recycling centres, on vehicles for mobile enforcement, data collection and site surveys.

The mobile/fixed ANPR/CCTV enforcement solution gives a fully integrated and highly efficient system that allows the upgrading of the system quickly and economically without needing to effect changes in infrastructure and street furniture.  This solution would typically be used where a local authority has a long-term or persistent problem with drivers transgressing. The system has a camera secured to either an existing item of street furniture/vehicle or car park or a dedicated pole. The processing unit is located in a nearby roadside unit. Communications between the unit and the back office can be via a range of methods but would normally be via a fixed communication bearer due to the volume of evidence that would require to be transmitted.

Our solution has the ability to be rapidly deployed with the minimum of infrastructure to 'hot spot' locations around a local authority's road network.  Since using this solution many of our clients have seen an increase of 500% per month of penalty charge notices.

This technology is now also being used for waste recycling for data verification of users of the site and monitoring of trade waste.
