Qualitative and quantitative assessments of environmental noise, building acoustics and vibration control. Our team includes some of the leading experts in the field of environmental noise and vibration control. We pride ourselves in having in-house monitoring and modelling.

We undertake various noise and vibration assessments in accordance with British Standards (BS), namely:

BS 4142 for assessing industrial noise levels (including nuclear sites) affecting mixed residential and industrial areas
BS 5228 assessments covering predicted noise and vibration levels arising from construction sites
BS 7445 for describing and predicting levels of environmental noise from development sites.

We also have specialist capabilities in the implementation of the Noise Insulation Regulations 1975.

Our recommendations include direct solutions, such as removing or minimising source emissions and influencing the source-receptor pathway, to indirect solutions, such as establishing operational management strategies and identifying measures to minimise personal exposure.
