Overview
The brand new Oasis Village and Children’s Centre is situated in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and offers three nursery playrooms, a main hall, ICT infrastructure, offices and further ancillary areas.
The design team took careful account of the importance of making the best possible use of natural light, with natural daylighting and ventilation offered through sunpipes and windows mounted in the roof.
The materials used on site echo those used in the neighbouring Orchards Primary School, and the whole project is a crucial part of achieving social regeneration for the local community.
