Overview
Littleport Community Primary School, a 420 place primary school, has benefited from the professionalism of the Mouchel Parkman design team.
The project’s first phase, a new build to replace the run down older facilities, was completed two weeks ahead of schedule. The design itself, carried out within the Cambridge Property Office’s Design Centre of Excellence, uses a primary steel frame and proprietary metal roof and wall cladding system.
These materials and design were specifically selected to speed along the construction. The open and spacious teaching areas make the best possible use of the lofty space by having generous sloping soffits including high level opening rooflights, improving ventilation in the school.
