Engineering design and construction services in the water sector are part of Mouchel’s long heritage, and go back to our foundation in 1888.
Our design and construction services reflect the effective collaboration that is essential to delivering successful outcomes for our water sector clients and partners.
For our water clients in the UK and internationally we offer a complete multidisciplinary design and construction support service across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process engineering. Our services are underpinned by the latest design tools and technology including full 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) capability.
We have provided detailed design and feasibility services to clients such as Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water, United Utilities and Wessex Water over successive five-year Asset Management Plan (AMP) periods.
We engage at any point in the project life cycle, offering planning support, third party stakeholder management, environmental and geotechnical services, feasibility, detailed design, construction supervision and Construction Design and Management (CDM) support.
Mouchel provides sustainable design and construction services fit for the 21st century, such as the delivery of more than £420m of water and wastewater schemes for United Utilities through the KMI+ joint venture, flood defences for vulnerable treatment works in Severn Trent, and utility and infrastructure design for major international projects, for example the Abu Dhabi Capital District project.
Whatever the delivery model – from joint ventures to partnering to stand-alone design consultancy – we bring the right teams and the right approach to meet our clients’ needs.
