Mouchel provides technical inputs and strategic advice to major clients including the Highways Agency, Network Rail, Crossrail, HS2, utility companies, Transport Northern Ireland, developers, local and regional authorities and governments, container terminal operators, ferry terminal operators, marine contractors and port operators as well as owners, operators, developer, constructors and regulators of waterfront and coastal, marina and port and harbour facilities. Notable recent successes include the award-winning Grimsby River Terminal project.
Our expertise and track record has been rewarded with the Institute of Environmental Management and assessment (IEMA) EIA Quality Mark. Mouchel is one of the leading consultants in land quality having built up an extensive track record especially in investigation and remediation of former gasworks sites including the largest land remediation project ever undertaken in Ireland (Dublin gasworks), which won the prestigious Fleming Award. We then went on to complete the largest-ever land assessment and remediation of an occupied housing estate in the UK (at Wigan) in 2010 which won both the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) North West Community Award.
Mouchel’s Landscape & Urban Design team is well-established and multi award-winning and one of the few practices in the market that is registered with the Consultation Institute, Landscape Institute and Urban Design Group.
