Regeneration

Mouchel works through long-term strategic partnerships and joint ventures with local authorities to deliver programmes of non-core council services such as highway design, highway maintenance, traffic engineering, property design, property maintenance and asset management, project management, programme / portfolio management, planning and estates services.

In many cases such partnerships are led by a council’s economic and social regeneration agenda and often these also include other, non-technical services which are now provided by Mouchel Business Services (formerly HBS) following an acquisition in 2007.

Any combination of Mouchel’s specialist skills can be combined in a strategic partnership with a local authority and each and every commission is shaped to suit the very specific drivers of the council.  Mouchel is a UK market-leader in this area and will work alongside an authority to create the most effective solution to their particular set of needs.

Principal commissions of this type are Mouchel’s partnerships with Liverpool City Council, Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council, and Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council.
