Services include civil and structural engineering, customer information systems, permanent way design and feasibility work, rail structures examination and assessment, rail freight consultancy, rail property asset management, rolling-stock and train systems consultancy, rail signalling and telecommunications and strategic asset management.

Our civil and structural engineering services include bridge design, strengthening and maintenance, rail station improvements (including underground stations) and platform extensions. Mouchel’s pre-eminence in the development of fibre-reinforced polymer structures has led to innovations in the construction and replacement of road-over-rail bridges.

Customer information systems services include passenger flow analysis, information flow analysis, technical and economic assessments of life-expired systems, and compliance management services, interfacing with HMIR.

Mouchel is working with CBS/Viacom to introduce moving-image advertising on London Underground escalators and cross-track projection advertising on a number of its station platforms.
