GIS and CAD technologies are used to capture, manipulate, analyse and present spatial data. We use a range of GIS and CAD systems – both industry-standard systems such as ArcGIS, MapInfo and AutoCAD, as well as specially developed in-house software, to add value to geographical investigation and analysis.
Data capture and preparation
Our data captures strategies ensuring that we capture project information to the required standard only once; efficiently making data available to co-workers and clients in a timely manner. We offer site-based inventory and mapping services as well as desk-based digitisation using CAD and GIS. | | Plan production
‘Traditional’ high-quality maps, plans and figures efficiently produced using semi-automated GIS and CAD processes, inform and illuminate our environmental assessments, reports and deliverables required by clients. | 3D and Web mapping
We understand that paper maps and static drawings aren’t the only options for presenting geospatial information. Along with 3D visualisations, we now publish web-mapping applications for dissemination of real-time information to co-workers and clients. | | Mobile GIS applications
We use and customise market-leading GIS solutions to manage project information gathered by our environmental or engineering teams. Those teams use our bespoke GIS applications on rugged Toughbooks and have reported many improvements to their data collection and asset management methodologies. |
