Structural design

Mouchel designs efficient and creative structural solutions which are fully integrated with the environmental systems and the building envelope. We have a strong understanding of the economics of the building frame and we recognise the environmental impacts of the embodied energy in the building structure.

Our designers are very experienced in refurbishment works for schools, and have extensive experience of the building types which were used for schools in the pre and post war eras, and in Victorian times. We understand how to sympathetically and efficiently repair and open up these buildings.
