Mouchel has a unique combination of highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) designers with strong environmental modelling skills with a large team of M&E professionals who maintain existing schools. This skill set, combined further with our energy modelling and management skills means that we produce creative, low energy designs for schools which are efficient and have a low lifecycle cost. Our designs are at the leading edge of environmental design, but work for their occupants and for the people who will maintain the schools.
We understand that natural light and ventilation are key to producing good learning spaces, and we have strong skills in developing renewable energy solutions for schools. Mouchel also has unique experience in developing strategic energy generation solutions such as waste to energy schemes. This, together with our ability to manage the carbon footprint of local authority clients, allows us to develop solutions which manage energy use and carbon footprint at a school, district and authority level.
