Mouchel’s a private sector business that makes public services better. And, at a time when the public sector must find smarter, more effective ways to provide more service for less cash, this makes our position pretty exciting.

This is a business that’s built around improving things for ordinary people. We help traffic flow more smoothly to make journeys less troublesome. We find leaks in water pipes to improve the quality of supply. We improve the environment in schools to make learning much more fun. And we re-shape and we modernise all manner of council services, to meet society’s changing needs.

As public services have had to change, so too has Mouchel. So this year we’ve made some tough decisions about our own business, transforming the structure and roles of our teams to make us leaner, more efficient and in great shape for the journey ahead. What we’ve created is a fit, agile business that’s in tune with the people it serves – and the people it employs.
