Civil and structural engineers –Typically working in Rail, Utilities and Highways divisions,specific roles for civil and structural range from specialist technical engineering to strategic consultancy and project management.
Electrical engineers –Predominately workingin our Highways division within consultancy teams, these roles might find you managing the introduction of new congestion-easing solutions on UK motorways.
Environmental engineers –We recruit people with master's degrees in environmental management and related engineering subjects to work in our Land and Environment business. Roles include consulting for businesses and regenerating brownfield sites.
Mechanical engineers –Likely to be based in our Water or Energy businesses, recent projects include the design and construction of a pipeline for liquid natural gas and Teesside Gasport - the world's first dockside LNG re-gasification port.
Transport planners –Suitable for people who have studied disciplines as diverse as transport planning, engineering, maths, geography or economics, these roles site within our Highways business and are pivotal to the consultancy we provide on the nation's roads.
And for all other disciplines:
Our Management Consultancy and Government Business Services divisions are growing rapidly and will represent a significant proportion of our graduate hires in 2010. We are interested in hearing from graduates of all disciplines for these roles and have previously recruited Geography, Politics, History and Accounting students among many others.Work in these business areas covers a number of areas including health, education, children's services, regeneration, ICT, local government, heritage, transport, the private sector and related areas.
