Mouchel and Lincolnshire County Council win Public Private Partnership Achievement of the Year Award

Mouchel and Lincolnshire County Council have won the Municipal Journal's annual award for the Public Private Partnership Achievement of the Year.

Representatives of the council and Mouchel attended the awards presentation evening on 26 June at London's Park Lane Hilton where broadcaster Jon Snow announced our success over five other finalists in front of a 900+ audience of public and private sector organisations.

The award submission focused on the Council’s Social Inclusion policy highlighting the work undertaken by the partnership to make services accessible to the county’s most disadvantaged communities.  This, along with the demonstration of impressive investment in new technology and new change management skills meant the judges had a clear winner.

The award comes as the successful partnership between Lincolnshire County Council and Mouchel is confirmed to continue until at least 2011 following a recent contract extension

The partnership has flourished over the past eight years, making savings in excess of £60m, with Mouchel delivering a range of quality services to the county council including HR, IT, Finance, Property and Catering.

Philip Wade, Mouchel Lincoln Partnership Director said, “To get such public recognition against strong competition is a great achievement for all involved and all staff should be rightly pleased with the part they have played.”
